The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at xxxx 36th Street in Northport is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We are closed to the public on weekdays. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments, therefore weekday appointments are available for adoption applicants only. To adopt, we need to receive a completed application (online application found at www.humanesocietyofwa.org). She is a young adult arond 3 to 4 years old. Maggie is a friendly little lady! She'd be a wonderful companion cat. She is low-energy, gentle and eager to be petted. Maggie would do well with kids who can handle her gently. She would socialize well with another friendly, gentle cat or two, but we aren't sure how Maggie would like a dog. We'd recommend a trial adoption if there is a dog in the home. Visit our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Maggie! Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses.
